Fuel depot caught fire near the bridge to Crimea

A fuel depot caught fire near the bridge connecting Russia to the Crimean peninsula, just days after an oil depot burned down in Sevastopol, Reuters writes.
Videos were posted on Russian social media showing large tanks labeled “Flammable” engulfed in flames and black smoke. Reuters has not yet been able to confirm the authenticity of the video.
Veniamin Kondratyev, governor of the Krasnodar region, stated that there were no casualties, however, the fire is very dangerous and complicated. He informed that the flames broke out in Volna, which is located near the bridge over the Kerch Strait. It is an important transport link for the Russian army, which connects the territory of Russia with the Crimean peninsula, which was annexed in 2014.

Ukraine has not claimed responsibility for the attack in Sevastopol, and since the beginning of the war, it is customary for Ukrainians not to comment on such cases. At the same time, Kyiv has indicated that the disruption of Russian logistics chains is part of preparations for a long-awaited counter-offensive.
On the 1st of May, explosions in Russia, in the Bryansk region bordering Ukraine, caused a train to derail. Russian officials have informed that pro-Ukrainian saboteur groups have been carrying out attacks in Bryansk since the beginning of hostilities.
Russia has also expanded its attacks on the territory of Ukraine, and since last week, almost every night, there have been airstrikes on Kyiv and other cities again.
