Russia launches massive overnight attack on Ukraine – 12 killed

Russian strikes on Ukraine overnight killed 12 people, including one foreign national, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Tuesday.
“A total of 12 people were killed, including an Indian citizen, while dozens of others were injured in the attack. My deepest condolences go to everyone who has lost loved ones,” Zelenskyy said on Telegram.
“A significant number of jet-powered drones and ballistic missiles were used in the attack. Unfortunately, residential and civilian infrastructure was damaged,” the president said.
Eight people were killed and seven others injured in Kyiv and the Kyiv region as a result of the massive Russian attack, the Prosecutor General’s Office said.
