Latvian Crisis Management Council disagrees on restrictions; update promised on Thursday

The Crisis Management Council plans to discuss tighter Covid-19 restrictions on Thursday, 7 October, as reported by the State Chancellery.
Members of the Crisis Management Council gathered on Tuesday, 5 October, to discuss tighter Covid-19 restrictions. However, no specific solution was agreed upon. Instead it was decided to tackle this issue on Thursday.
BNN previously reported that Minister of Health Daniels Pavļuts promised at a previously coalition meeting to ask the government to discuss the topic of tighter security measures, according to the politician’s entry on Twitter.
He said the Covid-19 situation in Latvia continues deteriorating rapidly.
