Belarusian oppositionists sabotage a Russian plane near Minsk

A Russian surveillance plane was damaged in a drone attack at a military airfield near Minsk, and it is reported that the Belarusian opposition carried out the attack, writes Reuters.
Aliaksandr Azarov, head of BYPOL, an organization directed against the government of Belarus, told the Belsat news channel that the attack was carried out by drones and was carried out by Belarusian oppositionists.
Belsat is a Polish broadcaster that focuses on news from the Baltic region. BYPOL unites former law enforcement officers who support opposition politicians. Both organizations have been declared terrorists in Belarus.
Neither the Russian nor the Belarusian Defense Ministry has yet commented.

BYPOL reported that two explosions damaged the central parts of the aircraft, as well as the radar antenna. The Beriev A-50 is a Russian reconnaissance aircraft that can track up to 60 targets simultaneously.

The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, did not directly engage in the Russian war but allowed Moscow’s forces to use his territory to launch an invasion. Russia and Belarus have created a joint army unit and conducted many military exercises.
