Ukraine: Russia’s losses in the war – 115 000 troops

In the war against Ukraine up to 115 000 Russian troops have been killed or injured, according to adviser to the Ukrainian President’s Chancellery Mykhailo Podolyak, as reported by Ukrainian media liga.net.
«Based on the most modest estimates, 35 000 – 36 000 Russian troops have been killed. This is aside from the private military companies, whose forces are counted separately. These are another 10 000 to 12 000 deaths,» stressed Podolyak.
He added that Russia’s total losses, including the wounded, reach 95 000 – 115 000 people.
According to Podolyak, Russia has «very few» competent units left, because «all of them have been crushed». Despite that, according to the politician, Russia continues forming new battalion level tactical groups.
