Tuesday and Wednesday will bring more clouds, with isolated rain clouds bringing light rain in some areas, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
There is also a possibility of local thunderstorms in western and central regions during the night into Wednesday.
With light winds prevailing, fog will form overnight and in the mornings, reducing visibility. Overnight temperatures will vary depending on cloud cover. During the night into Tuesday, as skies become clearer, temperatures across most of the country will fall to +5°C to +10°C, while along the Kurzeme coast they will remain at +11°C to +13°C.
During the night into Wednesday, cloud cover will keep minimum temperatures at +10°C to +14°C. Daytime temperatures will reach +14°C to +19°C, with the thermometer climbing to around +20°C in some areas.
At the beginning of October, weather conditions will remain calm,
with light winds and fog forming in some areas overnight. At the beginning of Thursday night, clouds will still bring light rain to parts of eastern Latvia, but the following days are expected to be mostly dry.
Daytime temperatures will still rise a few degrees above +15°C, but the progression of autumn will gradually make itself felt, with temperatures slowly declining and nights becoming increasingly cooler.
