According to provisional data, the turnover of municipal public transport company Rīgas satiksme was EUR 184.282 million last year. This is 9.2% more when compared to 2022. The company’s profits went up by 19%, reaching EUR 1.488 million, according to information published by the company.
Rīgas satiksme’s revenue from passenger services, when compared to 2022, increased by 10.6%, reaching EUR 35.628 million. Revenue from parking lots increased by 4.2%, reaching EUR 13.252 million.
When compared to 2022, financing of public transport services from the state went up by 46% in 2023, reaching a total of EUR 10.484 million. Financing from the municipal budget went up be 7%, reaching EUR 124.924 million.
Rīgas satiksme’s operational costs in 2023 went up by 2.2%, reaching EUR 167.383 million. A significant growth was observed in interest payments for borrowed funds, labor wages and depreciation costs.
Rīgas satiksme’s turnover was at EUR 168.703 million in 2022. This is 5% more when compared to 2021. The company’s profits went down to EUR 1.25 million.
