In July 2022 passenger turnover at Riga International Airport comprised 606.1 thousand passengers, which is 2 times more than in July 2021 and 10.3 % more than in the previous month.
Compared to July 2019, the number of passengers at airport was 27.5 % smaller, according to data from the Central Statistical Bureau of Latvia.
The total number of flights in July was 5 149, which is 19.2 % more than a year ago.
In the seven months of this year the number of passengers at airport comprised 2 827.5 million passengers, which is 2 124.1 thousand or 4 times more than in the corresponding period of 2021 and 87.6 % more than in the seven months of 2020.
However, that is 35.6 % less than in the corresponding period of 2019.
