According to LTV programme De Facto, among the people mentioned as once the fictive consultants of municipal company Rīgas satiksme, there are multiple well-known political personalities.
LETA previously reported that on the 19th of November Riga District Court satisfied the plea from Rīgas satiksme against its former board members, ensuring the enforcement of EUR 1.3 million. The verdict can be appealed. The plea was submitted against the company’s former board chairman Leons Bemhens and board members Ainārs Feļdmanis, Andrejs Požarnovs and Inese Švekle.
De Facto reports that the court’s verdict concerns 16 consultants. Some of them had ties to political parties Harmony and Honour to Serve Riga. These people were previously members of these parties, board members, candidate or even deputies of Riga City Council.
The verdict concerns consultants:

Also among them are people that are active in politics now: Riga City Council deputy from Harmony Sandris Bergmanis, Daugavpils City Council deputy Valērijs Kononovs, as well as former Harmony member and current “For Stability!” party member Jefimijs Klementjevs.
De Facto also reported that the verdict will have Leons Bemhens pay the biggest amount – EUR 1 046 000. Another EUR 200 000 will be paid by him and three other former board members.
