More German troops added to Lithuania-based NATO battle group

This week, in Lithuania, there has arrived a convoy of the German armed forces in the size of 130 troops to strengthen the NATO enhanced presence battle group located in the Baltic state, Lithuanian public broadcaster LRT and Reuters news agency reports.
This takes place in the context of fears of another aggression against Ukraine with US pointing to over 100 000 Russian troops deployed in Russia and Belarus near to the borders of Ukraine.
