Latvian law enforcers take measures against “Z” hooligans

Last night, two vandals supporting Russian aggression – hooligans defacing public areas with “Z” letter were caught by the police, as LTV programme Rīta panorāma was told by Minister of the Interior of Rihards Kozlovskis.
He said the violations committed by the detained persons will be classified later. More information about this incident may be reported to the public at a later date.
The minister believes drawing “Z” letter and other symbols associated with the Russian aggression on walls is no mere hooliganism, rather a more serious crime, as such activities are targeted towards specific goals.
Kozlovskis admits lately there have been many such violations, and police remain on high alert.
The politician invites residents to report to the police any acts of vandalism, as well as acts of expression of hate and aggression.
