A total of 930 new Covid-19 infection cases were found in Latvia in the last 24 hours. 494 of the patients were either not vaccinated or have not yet completed their vaccination course. 436 new patients were vaccinated, however.

The number of deaths caused by coronavirus complications has reached 6 989 in Lithuania.
11 911 Covid-19 tests were performed in Latvia in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Disease Prevention and Monitoring Centre (SPKC), which means the percentage of positive tests in 7.8%. 4 390 people have died from Covid-19 in Latvia so far and nine in the last 24 hours. 248 573 have recovered.
SPKC reports that the 14-day cumulative infection index per 100 000 residents is 501.1.
Latvian National Health Service reports 535 Covid-19 patients in hospitals.
