In 24 hours to Monday, March 7, Latvia registered 2,594 new coronavirus infections, while Estonia confirmed 1,394 and Lithuania registered 2,569, marking a decrease in new cases in all three countries.
A total of 2,594 new Covid-19 infection cases were found in Latvia in the last 24 hours to Monday morning. Nine people have died in the Baltic country, seven of them were unvaccinated or had not completed their vaccination, while two were vaccinated.
In Estonia, the latest public data showed that 1,394 new cases were found over the last 24 hours. 637 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in Estonian hospitals. 2,299 people have died from the disease in Estonia thus far.

The latest data from Lithuania added 2,569 new cases of coronavirus infection. 1,481 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in Lithuanian hospitals.
The number of deaths caused by the health complications of the coronavirus in Lithuania has reached 8,528 people.
Returning to Latvia, 5,872 Covid-19 tests were performed in the country in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Latvian Disease Prevention and Monitoring Centre (SPKC), which means the percentage of positive tests was 44,2%. A total of 5,345 Covid-19 patients have died in Latvia, while 580,836 people have recovered from the disease.
