Ivars Landmanis appointed to board of railway freight carrier Baltic Express

Ivars Landmanis has been appointed to work in the Board of Baltic Express. The reason for this was the departure of Swiss citizen Manfred Holdener. The Chairman of the Board Jānis Pauls and board member Aivars Gobiņš will remain in their respective posts.

Changes in the company’s board of directors were recorded in the Register of Enterprises on Friday, the 24th of January.

The turnover of Baltic Express in 2023 was EUR 22.454 million, which is 1.4% more than the year prior.

Ivars Landmanis previously worked in the Board of Baltic Express (end of January 2022 – April 2023).

Ivars Landmanis is also Vice-Chairman of the Council of Latvian Stevedoring Company Association. This company is a development-focused industry cluster that plans green energy projects, the industry’s centre of excellence, actively seeks new value-added services, develops new infrastructure projects in ports, provides Latvian and Baltic exports through Latvian ports, as well as creates new jobs. Port authorities, together with stevedores, make great efforts and provide maximum support to entrepreneurs who want to develop their business in ports.
