Four Latvian companies included in “Top 30” most valuable Baltic businesses

Four Latvian companies have been included in the “Top 30” list of most valuable Baltic businesses, according to the list composed by investment company “Prudentia”.

“Swedbank Baltics” is on 4th place. This company unites all “Swedbank” Group companies in Baltic States. The company’s value is EUR 4.345 billion, which is 28% more when compared to 2023.

“Latvenergo” is on 5th place with a total value of EUR 4.024 billion, which is 38% more when compared to 2023.

“Latvian State Forests” is on 11th place with a total value of EUR 1.657 billion, which is a 25% drop.

“Mikrotīkls” is on 24th place with EUR 991.7 million in value, which is a 16% drop when compared to last year.

These companies were featured on the “Top 30” list of 2023. Swedbank Baltics and Latvenergo were on the same spots that year. However, “Latvian State Forests” was in 9th place, and “Mikrotīkls” was on 15th place that year.

Similarly to the year before, Lithuanian companies are in the top three spots of the list. “Revolut Holdings Europe” is in 1st place with a total value of EUR 6.91 billion, which is 17% more when compared to the year prior. This also allowed the company to climb up from 2nd this year.

“Vilniaus Prekyba” is in 2nd place with a total value of EUR 4.817 billion (19% more than last year). Lithuanian “Thermo Fisher Scientific Baltic” is in 3rd place with a total value of EUR 6.181 billion (13% less than last year).

The total value of companies included on the Baltic “Top 30” list reaches EUR 60.4 billion, which is EUR 5.2 billion more when compared to 2023.

Of the companies included on the list, 11 are registered in Lithuania, nine in Estonia, four in Latvia. Six companies have their addresses spread across several Baltic States.

The list of the most valuable Baltic businesses was composed by experts from “Confidentus”, “Prudentia” and “Nasdaq” from offices in Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius.
