In the middle of the week, skies will be partly cloudy and no significant precipitation is expected, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
Light winds will begin to dominate, contributing to fog formation in some areas during the night and morning hours. Overnight temperatures will fall to seven to fourteen degrees Celsius in many areas, with temperatures a couple of degrees higher in some places along the Gulf coast. During the day, sunshine will warm the air to seventeen to twenty-two degrees Celsius.
On Saturday, a new cyclone will approach Latvia,
and the weekend is forecast to be rainy and cloudy. Easterly and southeasterly winds will strengthen, with gusts reaching up to fifteen metres per second. Daytime temperatures will remain around twenty degrees Celsius, while overnight temperatures will fall to around ten degrees Celsius.
The beginning of next week is also expected to be cloudy and rainy, with temperatures remaining at similar levels to the preceding days.
