Andriy Yermak, Chief of Staff to the President of Ukraine, and Mike Waltz, US National Security Adviser, agreed in a telephone conversation on Wednesday, the 5th of March, on a meeting of the delegations of the two countries in the near future.
“I had a telephone conversation with Mike Waltz, National Security Adviser to the US President. We discussed the next steps towards a just and lasting peace,” Yermak said.
They also exchanged views on security issues and the coordination of positions in the framework of bilateral relations between Ukraine and the US, he said.
“We agreed that our teams will meet in the near future to continue this important work,” Yermak said.
The US has already reportedly suspended military assistance to Ukraine, including intelligence.
