Covid-19 vaccination coverage in Latvia at approximately 70%

More than 70% of Latvian residents aged 12 years or older have received at least one Covid-19 vaccine injection, according to estimates from LETA, National Health Service and the Central Statistical Bureau of Latvia.
In Estonia 796 164 or 59.86% of residents have received at least one vaccine injection. 781 153 of them (57.23%) have completed the vaccination course, according to Estonia’s official Covid-19 vaccination portal vaktsineeri.ee.
In Lithuania 1 811 644 residents or 64.3% of the population have received at least one Covid-19 vaccine injection. 1 638 846 (58.8%) have completed the vaccination course, according to Lithuania’s official vaccination portal stat.gov.lt.
According to the aforementioned data, 70.43% of residents aged 12 years and older and 72.10% of residents aged 18 years and older have been vaccinated using Johnson & Johnson vaccine Janssen. 61.50% of residents aged 12 years and older and 63.26% of residents aged 18 or older have completed the vaccination course.
So far 61.78% of residents in Latvia have received the first vaccine injection or J&J vaccine and 54.01% of residents have completed the vaccination course. Estimates are based on data available from LETA and CSP.
On Monday, 1 November, at least 8 308 Latvian residents received at least one Covid-19 vaccine injection. 3 295 people received the first injection, 2 661 received the second, 647 received a booster shot and 1 678 were vaccinated using J&J vaccine. The numbers for Monday may yet change, because not all doctors input data regarding vaccination on the same day as they administer vaccination.
Last week 10 873 residents were vaccinated on average every day.
