A total of 8 682 new Covid-19 infection cases were found in Latvia in the last 24 hours. 3 542 of the patients were either not vaccinated or have not yet completed their vaccination course. 5 140 new patients were vaccinated, however.
5 823 new cases were found in Estonia the last 24 hours. 292 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals.
2 023 people have died from the virus in Estonia so far.
The latest data from Lithuania reports 11 365 new cases. 1 212 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals.
The number of deaths caused by coronavirus complications has reached 7 829 in Lithuania, with 730 fully vaccinated.
25 514 Covid-19 tests were performed in Latvia in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Disease Prevention and Monitoring Centre (SPKC), which means the percentage of positive tests in 34%. A total of 4 841 Covid-19 patients have died in Latvia so far and nine have died from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. Two of them were vaccinated and nine weren’t.
SPKC reports that the 14-day cumulative infection index per 100 000 residents is 3 904.1.
