In Latvia, the average price of 95th gasoline increased by 2.3% last week, while the average price of diesel fuel increased by 2.1%, according to data compiled by the European Commission (EC).
The information from EC published this week indicates that 95th gasoline cost an average of EUR 1.688 between the 27th of February and the 4th of March. A week prior the price was 1.65 EUR/l, and the week prior to that it was 1.669 EUR/l.
The average price of diesel fuel in Latvia was 1.702 EUR/l. A week prior the price was 1.667 EUR/l, and a week prior to that it was 1.697 EUR/l.
The price record of the 95th gasoline in Latvia was reached in 2022 between the 14th and 20th of June, when it reached 2.104 EUR/l. The price record of diesel fuel was reached the same year between the 21st and 27th of June – 2.108 EUR/l.
