Minister: use of masks in risk environments after 1 April is a topic open for debate

The use of masks in risk environments after 1 April is something we will have to discuss, said Latvian Minister of Health Daniels Pavļuts said after a meeting of the government on Tuesday, 15 March.
He also mentioned that before the government decides on Covid-19 regulations after 1 April, it is important to understand in which sectors should the requirement for valid Covid-19 certificates be maintained.
Pavļuts said all restrictions, aside from Covid-19 testing, will be lifted after 1 April. First of all it is planned to reduce the number of state-paid tests and transition towards professional antigen tests.
