Skies will remain mostly cloudy across Latvia on Thursday, although some clearer periods are expected. During the night, rain is forecast in eastern and central regions, with isolated thunderstorms also possible, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
During the day, rain will continue in the east and spread to western regions in the afternoon. Thunderstorms are also possible in Kurzeme. With light winds prevailing, fog will form mainly in Kurzeme and coastal areas during the night and morning.
Overnight temperatures will fall to between +7°C and +12°C, while eastern regions will remain slightly warmer at +12°C to +14°C. Daytime temperatures will reach +17°C to +22°C, while coastal areas will remain cooler at +12°C to +17°C.
On Friday and Saturday, weather conditions will remain mostly cloudy, though occasional clear skies are expected.
On Friday, rain is expected in some areas, with isolated thunderstorms also possible.
By Saturday, rainfall will gradually decrease, with only light rain expected in the afternoon in eastern and central regions.
Nighttime temperatures will mostly remain between +8°C and +10°C, although eastern regions will be somewhat warmer on Friday night, with temperatures between +10°C and +14°C. On Friday, daytime temperatures will rise to +16°C to +19°C, while many coastal areas will see cooler weather at +11°C to +15°C. Saturday is expected to be a few degrees warmer.
Weather conditions are expected to remain similar through the end of the week and the beginning of next week. Latvia will continue to experience passing precipitation zones, while temperatures are expected to stay within a similar range. Nighttime temperatures will mostly drop to between +7°C and +11°C, while daytime temperatures in some places may climb to around +20°C.
