Mild and grey weather continues – less rain and occasional sunshine over the weekend

On Tuesday night, skies will be mostly cloudy, with light rain expected in some areas, mainly in the eastern part of the country, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre. Along the coast, south-westerly wind gusts will reach 15 m/s, while inland, where winds will be lighter, fog may form.

Similar to the previous night, it will remain mild, with minimum air temperatures ranging between +6°C and +11°C.

During the day, the weather will stay cloudy, with only occasional light showers. A light to moderate south-westerly and southerly wind will blow, with gusts of up to 14 m/s along the coast. Daytime temperatures will rise to +9°C to +13°C.

On Thursday, clouds will again bring light rain in some places. Light to moderate south-westerly and southerly winds will persist. Temperatures will remain similar to recent days: +6°C to +11°C at night and +9°C to +12°C during daylight hours. No significant changes in weather conditions are expected on Friday either – skies will remain mostly cloudy with occasional showers. Friday night will be slightly cooler as temperatures drop to +4°C to +9°C, while the day will stay mild.

Over the weekend, rainfall will decrease, and at times the sun will break through the clouds. Nighttime temperatures will range from +3°C to +9°C, while daytime temperatures on Saturday will reach +7°C to +11°C. On Sunday, it will be a few degrees cooler.
