On Easter Monday, the weather will feature variable cloudiness, with brief showers expected in some eastern areas, and isolated thunderstorms possible. Winds will be light, though gusty during thunderstorms.
Nighttime temperatures will drop to between +4°C and +12°C, while daytime highs will reach +15°C to +20°C, up to +23°C in southeastern regions, and +10°C to +14°C along the coast, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, cloud cover will slightly increase, but there will still be plenty of sunny intervals. A precipitation zone will move in from the west overnight into Tuesday, bringing rain to most of the country, including some heavy downpours and thunderstorms in places. With light winds, fog may also form in some areas during the night and early morning hours. On Wednesday, rain is expected only in the eastern part of the country.
Night temperatures will drop to between +3°C and +8°C, with slightly warmer conditions in the southeast. Daytime temperatures will remain warm, reaching +13°C to +19°C, with southeastern areas experiencing up to +25°C on Tuesday. As usual, coastal regions will be a few degrees cooler.
In the second half of the week, the weather will gradually turn cooler, with occasional rain. Nights will become chillier, with frost expected in some places. Over the weekend, temperatures in some areas may drop below 0°C at night, and daytime highs will no longer exceed +10°C.
