With weather becoming warmer, tap water fountains, which were previously closed for the winter season, in Riga have been reopened for residents’ comfort.
Riga City Council’s Office for External Communication reports there are 17 tap water fountains in the capital city.
Tap water fountains are located at Ziedoņdārzs, Water spring house opposite Raiņa Boulevard 3, Agenskalns marketplace, Ēbelmuiža Park, Dzegužkalns, at the entrance to Riga Zoological Garden, Esplanade, Vērmanes Garden, Ziemeļblāzmas Park, Vecāķi beach, at the intersection of Pludmales Street and Kāpu Avenue, the children’s playground in Pļavnieki, near the Rolands Statue in at Riga Town Hall Square, Jūrmalas gatve 133, on Voleru Street 65, on Mazā Vējzaķsala 17, as well as Kundziņsala Street 9 and Dailes Theatre.
