Atmospheric pressure will gradually go up at the end of the week. This will improve the weather – fewer clouds and lower precipitation intensity. Rain is expected only in some areas in Latvia, as reported by Latvian State Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
With slow southern wind, fog will form in night and morning hours on Friday and Saturday. Visibility will suffer. Air temperature will stay around 0° C or lower on the night to Friday and Saturday. On the night to Sunday, air temperature will drop to only +3° C… +6° C.
During the day, as the sky clears and the sun shines more often, maximum air temperature will reach +9° C… +15° C. Air temperature may gradually reach +20° C in southern parts of the country on Sunday, the 28th of April.
Next week, weather will be dictated by high atmospheric pressure. The sky will clear up at times. Some rain is expected. On the night to Wednesday, there will be more rain. At times, there will be heavy rain. The wind will be slow. At night and during the day air temperature will go up. Minimal air temperature at night will be +7° C… +13° C, meteorologists say.
Daytime air temperature in most of the country will reach +19° C… +24° C. Air temperature will remain lower along the coast. New temperature records are possible as well.
