Velve hopes to resolve all contentious issues with PSKUS through negotiations

Construction company Velve hopes to resolve all existing problems with P.Stradins Clinical University Hospital (PSKUS) through negotiations, Velve representatives say.
The company explains that one of Velve’s main principle when it comes to cooperation is resolving problematic issues with clients in a constructive and mutually acceptable manner.
The resolution of the dispute surrounding the construction of PSKUS A2 building is only possible with active participation from the hospital and a constructive approach in regards to the take-over of the construction site and related affairs, including the execution of payments to Velve for the work completed before the conflict between two sides first surfaced, the company’s representatives say.
At the same time, Velve does not deny the possibility of taking the issue to court to protect its interests if PSKUS refuses to resolve the dispute peacefully or refuses to respect Velve’s justified demands in regards to the contract and applicable regulations, or if no agreement is reached to settle relations.

Information from Firmas.lv indicates that Velve is under collection procedure since the 11th of March.

When asked why the process was launched and how it affects the company, Velve representatives explained that it concerns civil transactions that resulted in a debt of a couple of tens of thousands of euros to the construction company’s cooperation partners. This issue is being addressed and in no way affects the day-to-day operations of the company, which includes the free disposal of the company’s financial assets.
As it is known, on the 13th of February, PSKUS and Velve terminated the contract on the construction of a new building for the hospital.
