Russia shells Ukrainian cities, including Lviv

Russia has heavily shelled Ukrainian cities, hitting Kyiv particularly hard, and air raid sirens blared throughout the country for several hours, writes Reuters.
The Ukrainian army has informed that, according to initial information, the anti-aircraft defense systems managed to shoot down 28 out of 30 drones sent by Russians. About 20 enemy targets were identified and destroyed in the airspace around Kyiv.

Serhiy Popko, the head of the Kyiv military administration, said that this was another major attack on the capital of Ukraine.

The military administration of Lviv, which is located only 70 kilometers from the border of NATO member Poland, has informed that Russia has carried out strikes on critical infrastructure, and fires have also started. Initial information indicates that there are no victims.
Yuriy Malashko, the head of the military administration of Zaporizhzhia, wrote in Telegram that Russian forces targeted telecommunications infrastructure and agricultural and farming properties. There are no reports of victims in Zaporizhzhia either.
Reuters has not been able to confirm the veracity of the reports, and Russia has not yet commented.
