On Sunday, the 18th of June, Odessa military administration spokesperson Serhij Bratchuk reported that Ukrainian forces managed to destroy a major munitions depot of the Russian forces not far from the port city of Henichesk.
Previously photos and videos showing explosions near Henichesk were posted on local Telegram channels.
Available footage shows an enormous pillar of smoke and continuous explosions.
“This morning our armed forces performed a very good – and loud – attack on the village of Rikova in Henichesk district of the temporarily occupied Kherson,” Bratchuk said in a video.
According to him, there was a very important munitions depot there, and it was destroyed in the attack.
