The total fee for gas is composed of five parts – natural gas price, management fee, transmission fee, excise tax (0.00165 EUR/kWh and 21% VAT). The natural gas price is the only component that differs between traders.
To ensure accurate records of gas consumption, Latvijas gāze invites clients to report their gas counter readings between the 27th of April and the 2nd of May.
The 1st of May will mark the complete opening of the natural gas market for households. It will also mark the end for public trade of services at regulated prices.
