Valainis stresses that the creation of an operational centre by Norse Atlantic Airways affirms Latvia’s as a regional aviation centre’s important and high growth potential. “Our goal is also to take the next step by expanding the airport’s route network to further destinations. Flights between Latvia and the US will be an important factor in strengthening Latvia’s bilateral economic relations with the US,” said the minister.

Larsen stressed that Latvia’s advantage is highly-qualified and talented professionals, who will soon join the airline’s team.
