When to expect +26°C and when will the rain return? Forecast until Sunday

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the sky will be partly cloudy with occasional showers in some areas, and on Tuesday there is a chance of thunder in parts of Vidzeme, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.

These days will be dominated by light winds, and for this reason, fog may form in some areas at night and in the early morning hours, which could reduce visibility. During the night, temperatures in many places will drop to +10…+15°C, while during the day they will remain above +20°C across most of the country.

On Thursday and Friday, the centre of an anticyclone will be over Latvia, bringing more summery weather – in many places the air will warm to +22…+26°C,

with significantly fewer clouds and more frequent sunny spells.

The weekend will bring changes in both precipitation and temperature – on Saturday, rain clouds will again be seen over a larger area, accompanied by thunderstorms, while on Sunday a relatively cooler air mass will once again flow in from the north, persisting into the start of next week.
