Friday will begin mostly sunny, although clouds will occasionally appear. In the far eastern parts of the country, brief rain showers and possibly even thunderstorms are expected. A moderate north to northwest wind will blow, with gusts reaching up to 14 m/s in the east. Temperatures will rise again, with the thermometer reaching between +16°C and +21°C, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
The weekend will bring calm weather — only a few clouds in the sky and no significant precipitation expected. Fog and mist may form in places during Saturday night, reducing visibility. The wind will blow lightly to moderately from the north, and on Sunday it will ease further and become light. Nighttime temperatures will range from +7°C to +13°C, while daytime temperatures will rise to between +17°C and +23°C, slightly cooler along the coast.
At the start of the new week, weather conditions will remain mostly unchanged. Monday will be dry, while on Tuesday, light rain is expected in some areas. Warm weather will continue, with temperatures reaching and in many places exceeding +20°C.
In the second half of the week, rainfall will become more widespread, with precipitation expected across the entire country. Winds will also strengthen and become gusty.
