Weather conditions in Latvia will be fair and calm this weekend. Meteorologists predict Friday and Saturday will be dry and sunny. On Sunday, weather will be cloudy and rainy, as reported by Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
Wind speed will be slow. At night air temperature will drop to +5° C… +10° C – a couple of degrees lower in eastern parts of the country. Daytime air temperature will reach +18° C… +23° C (+10° C… +15° C along the coast).
Weather at the beginning of next week will be dictated by an anticyclone – partly cloudy and partly sunny. It will be generally dry as well. With northern winds colder masses of air will be carried to Latvia. This means air temperature will gradually go down.
Meteorologists say air temperature will reach +7° C… +14° C. At night, however, air temperature will drop to 0° C in certain regions of Latvia.
Meteorologists remind that the UV index this weekend will remain high, so it is not recommended to spend a long time under direct sunlight.
