On Wednesday night it will be overcast in western regions. This means rain and wet snow in western and central regions, as reported by Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
During the day weather in Latvia will remain cloudy. Some rain is expected in eastern parts of the country. With wind speed remaining slow, fog may form in western and central regions. Air temperature at night will drop to -2° C… +3° C (-4° C… -9° C in eastern parts). Daytime air temperature will remain positive and will be around +2° C… +6° C.
On Thursday and Friday cyclone activity will cause clouds to form, bringing precipitation to Latvia – mainly rain and wet snow. Air temperature in most of Latvia will rise above 0° C both at night and during the day. Air temperature will remain negative only in eastern regions and only at night.
The sky will clear up more often on the weekend. Nevertheless, some precipitation will remain. Air temperature at night will drop below 0° C at night. Daytime air temperature will remain positive in the entire country.
