On Thursday, the 6th of February, weather in Latvia will be mostly cloudy. At times, mostly in western parts of the country, the sky may clear up for a short while, as reported by Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
Similarly to night, some precipitation is expected during the day – rain, wet snow. Snow is expected mostly in eastern territories. Warm weather is expected in western parts of the country, where air temperature will rise to +2° C… +7° C. In central and eastern regions, air temperature will be only 0° C… -2° C.
Meteorologists remind that motorists should be careful in these weather conditions – roads will become slippery in some areas.
Atmospheric pressure will go up at the end of the week. Air temperature will go down. In some areas air temperature will drop as far as -10° C. The wind will blow from the east and no significant precipitation is expected. Similar weather conditions will remain at the start of next week.
