According to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre, Thursday and Friday will be mostly cloudy, though skies will occasionally clear.
Rain is expected intermittently across most of the country, while fog will form overnight and in the early morning hours in some areas, reducing visibility. On Thursday, a light to moderate westerly wind will blow, gradually weakening on Friday.
At night, temperatures will drop to +3…+8°C, while coastal areas on Thursday will be slightly warmer — around +10°C. During the day, air temperatures will rise to +8…+13°C, but Friday will be a few degrees cooler.
Over the weekend, the sun will alternate with clouds, and precipitation will decrease
— rain is expected only in some areas. Winds will generally remain light. A colder air mass will move into Latvia, with night temperatures dropping close to 0°C, and in some eastern regions even down to -1…-4°C. During the day, temperatures will range between +6…+11°C.
At the beginning of next week, the weather will remain similar — rain clouds will appear only in isolated places. Across most of the country, night temperatures will fall to +2…+7°C, while the coastal regions will be a few degrees warmer, and in the east they may drop to -1…+2°C. During the day, the thermometer will climb just above +10°C.
