Last night a flammable mixture was tossed inside the Museum of the Occupation of Latvia, as LETA was told by the museum’s head Solvita Vība.
She said that the museum remains open and its exposition remains open for visitors despite the attack. Vība also said she hopes authorities will quickly find the perpetrator.
“I hope the attacker will be found quickly. I believe its was an attack targeted specifically on the Museum of Occupation. I would like to stress that the museum is still open,” said the head of the museum.
As LETA was told by Latvian State Police, an investigation has commenced. Police did not comment the situation further.
