Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to visit Latvia

On Thursday, the 11th of January, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will arrive in Latvia for an official visit, as LETA was told by Latvian State President’s advisor Mārtiņš Drēģeris.
The Ukrainian president’s official visit will commence at 16:15 (local time) with his welcoming ceremony at Riga Castle, which will be followed by a joint photo with him and Latvian President Edgars Rinkēvičs.
During his visit to Latvia, Zelenskyy’s delegation will meet with their Latvian counterparts. After this meeting, the two presidents will hold a joint press conference at 17:25.
At 18:05 Zelenskyy will meet with Saeima speaker Daiga Mieriņa, followed by a meeting with Prime Minister Evika Siliņa at 19:10.
It is planned to discuss bilateral cooperation between Latvia and Ukraine, the future support from Latvia and allies for Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression, as well as matters related to Ukraine’s Euro-Atlantic integration during this visit.
On Wednesday Zelenskyy arrived in Vilnius with an unannounced visit, as Lithuanian media report.
