Ukraine: more than ten thousand Mariupol residents are in Russian filtration camps

More than ten thousand residents of Mariupol, which is captured by Russian forces, are in filtration camps, claims the city’s mayor Vadym Boichenko.
According to him, most of the people in the filtration camps are men. Boichenko says there may be plans to recruit them into the army.
Employees of state and municipal institutions are also kept in those camps. He also said people there have no access to normal medical aid.
Russia used filtration camps during the Chechen war as well.
According to Boichenko, one of the objectives of these camps was to recruit agents for Russian special services.
