Swedish school attacked by masked men to rob computers

Pupils in a secondary school in Sweden have experienced a robbery. Two men with knives have entered a classroom to steal computers, British broadcaster BBC reports quoting local media.
The events unfolded on Monday, February 7, in the central Swedish city of Västerås. During lessons in the secondary school, the masked men entered a classroom and took all of the class’s computers, but were forced to leave some, because teachers chased after them.

Fortunately, no pupils or staff were injured; however, a passer-by, who attempted to intervene was treated by paramedics on site. The local police confirmed that the crime had taken place and launched patrols in the surrounding area.
The school’s headmaster Henrik Pettersson commented to the Aftonbladet newspaper that a number of the students did not feel well during the afternoon. «There are many who are sad, upset and shocked to have witnessed such a horrible and traumatic event. (..) This kind of thing should not happen in a school, it’s awful,» Pettersson was quoted as saying.
