On Friday, the 1st of November, the sky will clear up every now and then. Nevertheless, it will rain in all of Latvia – heavy rainfall is expected in the evening. A thunderstorm is possible as well, as reported by Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
Western, north-western wind will reach a speed of 18-23 m/sec in all of Latvia (up to 25-30 m/sec along the coast in the evening). The strong wind may disrupt power supply, fell trees and break branches. Visibility will suffer during precipitation. The day will start off with warm weather. Air temperature will reach +10° C… +14° C, but it will start going down in the afternoon, as colder masses of air will flow to the country.
Both rain and snow are expected on Saturday. Precipitation may be strong at times.
A thunderstorm is possible as well. On the night to Saturday and in the first half of the day, wind speed ma reach 25-30 m/sec. Water level in the gulf and in Riga’s vicinity may go up due to strong north-western wind. Air temperature at night will drop to 0° C… +6° C (colder in eastern parts of the country). Roads may become slippery at night and in morning hours. Daytime air temperature will reach +2° C… +7° C.
