In 24 hours to Thursday, March 10, Latvia registered 7,055 new coronavirus infections, while Estonia confirmed 2,470 and Lithuania registered 6,094, marking a day of decreasing numbers across the Baltic states.
A total of 7,055 new Covid-19 infection cases were found in Latvia in the last 24 hours to Wednesday morning. 13 people have died in the Baltic country in the period, eight of them were unvaccinated or had not completed their vaccination, while six were vaccinated.
In Estonia, the latest public data showed that 2,470 new cases were found over the last 24 hours. 610 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in Estonian hospitals. 2,327 people have died from the disease in Estonia thus far.

The latest data from Lithuania added 6,094 new cases of coronavirus infection. 1,417 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in Lithuanian hospitals.
The number of deaths caused by the health complications of the coronavirus in Lithuania has reached 8,599 people.
Returning to Latvia, 16,185 Covid-19 tests were performed in the country in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Latvian Disease Prevention and Monitoring Centre (SPKC), which means the percentage of positive tests was 43.6%. A total of 5,382 Covid-19 patients have died in Latvia, while 607,775 people have recovered from the disease.
