According to data from the Central Election Commission (CVK), activity in 14th Saeima elections has been the highest in Rezekne, whereas voters in Jurmala has been the lowest so far.
The latest data from CVK indicates 29.91% of Latvian citizens in Rezekne have voted, 28.75% in Ventspils, 25.88% in Daugavpils, and 25.15% in Jelgava.
24.62% of Latvian citizens with voting rights have voted in Riga so far. Data for Riga also includes election sites located in foreign countries. However, information for those election sites is not available at this time. Together with election sites in foreign countries, 17.56% of voters registered in Riga region have cast their votes.
In Liepaja the number of voters who have taken part in 14th Saeima elections is as 23.2% and in Jurmala – 22.24%.
As previously reported, the 14th Saeima elections are currently taking place in Latvia. All election sites in Latvia will remain open from 07:00 a.m. until 20:00 p.m. on Saturday, 1 October.
