On Monday, skies will be mostly cloudy, although some clearing is expected in western regions. Rain is forecast for much of the country both overnight and during the day, with heavier rainfall expected in the east.
A light to moderate southerly wind will blow. Nighttime temperatures will drop to +3…+6°C, while during the day they will gradually rise to +6…+9°C, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the weather will remain cloudy, though occasional sunshine is expected when skies clear. Rain is likely in many parts of the country. With a light to moderate southerly wind, fog may form in some areas, reducing visibility. Night temperatures will range from +2…+7°C, and daytime highs will reach +5…+10°C.
In the second half of the week, daytime temperatures will remain within +6…+11°C, while nights will be a few degrees cooler than earlier in the week. Over the weekend, precipitation is expected to ease, bringing relatively dry weather. Nights will be chilly and autumnal, and daytime temperatures will not exceed +8°C.
