On Tuesday, cloud cover over Latvia will increase, and rain is expected in parts of Kurzeme and Vidzeme. A light to moderate southwesterly to southerly wind will blow, with gusts reaching up to 15 m/s along the coast. Daytime temperatures will rise to between +6°C and +11°C, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
On Wednesday, rain is expected throughout the country during the night, and mostly in central and eastern regions during the day. Winds will be light to moderate from the southwest and south but will ease during the day. Nighttime temperatures will remain mild, between +1°C and +5°C, while daytime temperatures will stay within the range of +4°C to +8°C across most of the country
Thursday will remain mostly cloudy, with occasional sunshine in some areas. Overnight, rain is expected in central and eastern parts of the country. Winds will be light, but in the afternoon, they will shift to the southwest and south in western regions and slightly strengthen.
In some places, temperatures may drop below freezing overnight, ranging between -2°C and +3°C. During the day, temperatures will rise to +7°C to +12°C in most parts of Latvia, although coastal and eastern areas may not exceed +6°C.
By the end of the week, as atmospheric pressure increases, precipitation will become less frequent. With warmer air moving in, the weekend is expected to be spring-like and pleasantly warm.
