This week there will be rain every now and then. Wind speed will be mostly slow. However, it will gradually start getting colder – at the end of the week air temperature will not exceed +10° C, according to Latvian State Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
Meteorologists say that the end of October was warm, several maximum air temperature records were set in recent days. On Monday, 31 October, daytime air temperature in Latvia will reach +7° C… +11° C.
After that days are expected to become cloudy. Wind speed will remain slow. On Tuesday some precipitation is expected at night. Days are expected to be mostly dry. Fog may form at times at night and morning hours. Minimal night-time air temperature will be +4° C… +9° C (+1° C… +4° C in eastern regions).
Daytime air temperature will reach +9° C… +13° C (+7° C… +9° C in eastern parts of the country).
On Wednesday some rain showers are expected at night in some areas. A precipitation zone will start passing through Latvia from the west during the day. Minimal air temperature at night will be +5° C… +10° C, whereas daytime air temperature will reach +7° C… +12° C.
According to current forecasts, at the end of next week some precipitation and cloudy weather is expected with moments of clear sky. There will be less precipitation on Friday. Mostly showers are expected in eastern parts of the country. Another precipitation zone will pass through the country’s territory on Saturday and the night to Sunday.
Minimal air temperature during these nights is expected at +3° C… +8° C. During the day air temperature is not expected to exceed +10° C.
