Microsoft informed that it is looking for the reasons for the outages that affected several of its programs, including communication apps, writes Reuters.
The company has not released information on the number of affected users, but reports of outages indicate that the operation of apps has been disrupted for users in Australia, the UK, Asia, and also the Middle East. Microsoft wrote on Twitter: «We’ve identified a potential networking issue and are reviewing telemetry to determine the next troubleshooting steps.»

Microsoft’s cloud service Azure has also reported malfunctions and indicated that users are experiencing problems.
During the outage, users were unable to send messages, join calls, or use any other MS Teams features.
The app is used by more than 280 million people worldwide and is an essential part of the work of many companies and educational institutions – the app allows making calls, scheduling meetings, and organizing workflow.
According to Microsoft’s statement, other apps and platforms are also affected: Microsoft Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
