On Monday, the 8th of April, clouds will be few. Weather will be mostly dry, with moments of rain in some areas in the country, mainly in the south, according to Latvian State Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
The wind will be slow and will blow from the south. This means fog may form in some regions at night. The night will be relatively warm. Air temperature will not go below +4° C… +10° C at night. Daytime air temperature will reach +10° C… +17° C.
Weather conditions will not differ significantly on Tuesday and Wednesday – clouds with moments of clear sky, as well as periodic showers. There is a possibility of a thunderstorm in eastern parts of the country. The wind will blow from the south-west and west on Wednesday. Wind speed will gradually go up as well.
Meteorologists say that warmer masses of air will flow to the country – while on Tuesday night air temperature will stay the same as the night prior, on Wednesday it will exceed +8° C… +13° C. Air temperature will go up during the day as well, as air temperature will reach +17° C… +22° C. Along the coast in Kurzeme air temperature will not go above +8° C… +13° C.
In the second half of the week there will be changes to the weather. Air temperature will reach +15° C only in some regions. It will also become windier.
