Meteorologists predict mostly dry and warm weather in Latvia

Heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, strong wind and even hail was observed in Latvia due to a wide cyclone last week, as reminded by the State Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
Though the end of summer was windy and rich with precipitation, weather is expected to improve this week.
With atmospheric pressure gradually going up, weather is expected to be mostly dry and warm this week.
On Monday, the 4th of September, the amount of clouds will be volatile. No major precipitation is expected during the day. Air temperature will be between +18° C… +21° C.
Tuesday will pass largely without precipitation but will be cloudy. The sun will shine every now and then, however. The wind will be slow and will blow from the south-west and west. At night air temperature will drop to +10° C… +15° C (+15° C… +17° C along the coast). Daytime air temperature will reach +19° C… +23° C.
Weather will be similar in the middle and the end of the week –

the sun will shine more often and days will pass without precipitation.

The wind will be slow and fog will appear in some areas.
Minimal night-time air temperature is expected around +13° C… +18° C (+7° C… +12° C on the night to Thursday and Friday). Daytime air temperature will reach +17° C… +22° C. At the end of the week air temperature may reach +25° C.
